All I can commit to is "maybe"

Oh yeah, I did a great job commiting to the "hiatus".
ddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
Oh bloggie, when I thought I'd get sick of you after not updating and abstaining from the Internet, I WAS DEAD WRONG!!!! So people, how was your holiday so far? Mine? Nevermind. But things are looking up for December cause Mummy just allowed me to go to RYLA (pronounced RAYLA)!!!! Inilah, I thought she was a menopausing social pariah but apparently she loves me enough to let me go to Johor Bahru alone, well not exactly alone, but at least away from her "guarding wings" for 4 day 3 nights.
ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Sad thing is, only 3 Interactors are going from Sabah, which is mua, Andy and Adam. Oh God, I can see what will happen there. I'll be so anti-social. Not only that, Andrea will dazzle everyone with her awesomeness that no one will know I exist. And then, I'll entertain myself by attempting to kasi juling my eyes . Sad. Did I mention there's Talent Night? Apa sia mau buat? I have no talent, mati lar me...
ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Oh well, I would have miss the other Interactors yg cannot come. I understand it's expensive cuz have to pay RM400 for the RYLA plus airfare to and from JB. But guess what people, our school is subsidising RM200 and three Rotarians with really deep pockets is sponsoring RM400!!! Oh man, I would have kicked myself if I didn't say yes to going, it's so cheap now! dun bah, I'm not rubbing it into you faces, whatchu talkin about?!ddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
And I'm sorry I'll have to miss Bervert's perfomance in da manga exhibition thingy. Don't worry Bev, I know you won't embarass me. Break a leg, preferably Dodo's. You know I love you :) I buy you keychains later, i think, I mean they're kinda expensive. Ok lar, I'll try to buy you a keychain.dddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
ddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd
Speaking of which, there was this really cute guy who came to my aunty's wedding. He is not a relative so I don't have to feel guilty (cuz every other guy there was a 2nd or 3rd or 4th or ..... cousin of mine!). Orang putih again dat ! whaaat, I'm not sakai, pfft....
But too bad, I found out he's only thirteen!!!! Inilah, I was already dreaming about having kids with blond hair, it sucks to be older, hmph.... ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
Well, I'm off to study cause sum1 made me promise to do it in exchange for JB. ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
ssssssssssssssssssssssssss
P/S : I know this post sucks mothballs. But then again, you can't win them all :p

Well, here I am. What were your other two wishes?

My nostrils hurt, seriously! So far, the highlight of my holiday is none other than getting a nosebleed, sad isn't it? Budu SESB, always no current my house and it's getting toasty. Remember sketsa, the part when I said I was a puteri lilin? I wasn't kidding. When mummy brought us to grandma's house, you'd think they'd have current right? WRONG! I hate this state man, Australia's waiting for me as we speak.

Speaking of the nosebleed earlier, did you know that blood came out of only one nostril and the other one is just the 'regular' stuff? I know, too much info, but I can't help it. Maybe I'm a mutant and my superpowers are developing. All those years expose to the dust and heat in 4ST has finally taken a toll on me and maybe, in given time, I'll secrete 'enzymes' which will have mind-control properties over people. If that happens, the first thing I'll do is make a pilak rape the BM Perv. Hey, I might even be doing him a favour.

Oh, and the aunt's wedding is like 2 days away. I really can't wait to get this bridesmaid duty over and done with, I mean you think I like to serve people with cakes and beer ka? It's like my permanent job. I once serve beer to this guy who was wearing this songkok. Smart. He looks like Mazlan, but tubbier. It was not my fault okay, I blame it on the heat, and secondhand drinking.

And guess who has a bloggie now huh? I bet Bervert has the answer. Inilah, I'm the main topic lagi tuh. I feel loved bebeh, LOVED. So anyone coming to watch New Moon? I don't get the hype that surrounds that movie, but I guess I'll find out in a few hours.

Maybe the hype is about him?

PEACE OUT!!!!

P/S: My nostrils still hurt....

Some people get so rich they lose all respect for humanity. That's how rich I want to be

I'm really really goin to do it! I'm going to write a book, a good fiction book and hopefully it'll get published. But that's not my main aim, not for now at least. I have always wondered "what if" this and "what if" that so I want to stop wondering and just do it. I promise when I'm finished, I will make it free for everyone to read.

Dun worry, It won't be about vampires. Cause it seems like that's the 'It' genre right now. And no, I'm not about to steal Bervert's crown. She's still the better writer. By the way, I'll just published one of my work here. It is a sonnet, which was done during an English class by Teacher Siska. It is about moving on from a particular relationship (first love maybe?) even though it seems impossible at first. Yes, it is completely original okay. Tiada tiru-tiru. It's not my best work but it'll do for now. Enjoy!

Sonnet 16

You came and left with footprints in my heart,
The memory of us is not enough,
On that fateful day when we grew apart,
Living through life as it is just grew tough.

Mum says it’s kind of like catching a cold,
One minute I’m fine with the circumstance,
One minute I’m sick as a man who’s old,
All this emotions makes me feel so tense.

But now I am no longer a victim,
I can do away with that gripping fear,
And never breathe a word about boredom,
And fill the relentless minute my dear.

The next time we meet from you I’m hoping,
To hear,”congrats on the new beginning. ”

By ,
Bervet’s darling, Mirable’ XD

P/S- Bev tricked me into giving this sonnet to her so it will be published in the school mag next year. She's such a perv, I know...

I'm not drunk, I'm just intoxicated by you

I'm not a loser just because I'm facebook-less! There, i've said it. Why must I have one? I don't own a camera so I can't post pictures. I won't bother to update cause I'm lazy. And SPM is next year for me. So why in the world would I want one?

There's this one guy bah, Adam Fu is its name. He kept on mouthing "loser, loser" when he found out I did not have an fb or whatever abbreviation people give facebook. Ugggh, I spent a lot of time updating this blog already that I don't have any left to spare for facebook so don't ask me to make one again okay. Like this lar, I'll make one when my parents buy me a camera. *pinky swear*

Oh, and somehow, I sound sexier now, no thanks to my ugly immunity system. This always happen to me, why must I be sick when the school holiday is starting? Then mummy will start nagging on how I might infect the other three monkeys who somehow shares the same DNA as I do. This is exactly why I should be the only child. If there's only me, only 1 sick kid to take care of right? Haiyaa, it's basic math yet my parents still don't understand that 4 kids is 3 too much.

Anyways, I just read Emerlay's post on her trip to KL and in school, I keep on hearing stories on how they are going overseas and stuff. Make people jealous only this. Someone even forgot to buy me keychains. I did went over seas though. Yes, thats over seas, with a space. I went to Labuan, the land of cheap chocolates, cigarettes and alcohol. A students' dream, a dieters nightmare. Oh man, even the KFC there no tax, so for the first time, if the fries cost RM 2.45, you pay RM 2.45, not RM 2.63 or ugly numbers like that. But because of that, I now know that if I were to do my Matriculations, it would not be in Labuan. A few months there, and I will look like Jabba the Hunt.

Not attractive.

But hey, I did not just spend my time in Labuan stuffing myself with chocs only okay. I actually learned something new. What is that you may ask? Well, it's a sport called lawn bowl. If you think it sounds lame, it kinda actually is. It is the slowest physical game in the whole entire world. You roll, yes, roll the ball, and wait for minutes for it to curve on the padang and hopefully hit the jack or target. The funniest part of the entire thing was when this guy with a walrus moustache said to me

Okay, sekarang awak buang bola ni sebab awak jadi lead untuk group kamu.
Huh?
Kamu jadi lead, L-A-D, lead. Faham?
Err, okaaaay.

Btw, I did manage to hit the jack, twice! Take that, whoever is the current champion for lawn bowl is. If being a doctor does not work out for me, I can always fall back on being a professional lawn bowler.

Speaking of which, Nerd said to me that I now I something to blog about when I found out what my results were. BOOYA! I got number 1 bebeh. This is so awesome but I couldn't express my happiness enough cause my nose is blocked so if I keep on talking and bragging, I wouldn't have any organs to breathe.

So this is the final result.

BM: 85/A
BI:86/A
M3:89/A
ADD M3:86/A
BIO:82/A
PHY:69/B+
CHEM:79/A
LIT:89/A
SEJ:90/A+
MORAL:61/B

Overall result: Pure euphoria! Still, stupid new grading system. Mummy was like, "Your bragging rights have been forfeited on the account that you only got 1 A+." Way to spoil the mood mum. Didn't I tell you how much I love my mummy for being weird and mean at the same time.

xoxo
Number 1 :P

You're so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed

I'm warning you Jeremy and daddy, don't come and read my blog or I'll make it private and then I'll make you pay!

So, I just went back from the youngest bro's school concert and I saw the most disturbing sight EVER. My bro was made to use heavy makeup, HEAVY MAKEUP I TELL U! I'm talking about bright pink eyes, cheeks and lips, on a boy. Doesn't a kid have rights to look normal? Or is it that the rights are not implemented on certain occasions to the delight of adults who thinks it is okay to prance children around in any looks of their liking, regardless of their gender? I'm not against school concerts and all, but try seeing a dozen boys prancing around in tutus and then form your own opinions.

On a lighter note, the concert gave me a viable excuse not to go to youth. It has been SIX weeks and counting since I've been there. What? It's not like I didn't try to like it okay. It's just that by the time I joined it, everyone has formed their own cliques and leaves me to entertain myself by reading the buletin board and stuff. I'm pathetic, I know. And don't get me started on the language barrier. I'm sick of trying to keep up with whatever they are trying to say and it's not like they are helping. Someone said to me, "Why you don't take up the Chinese language. You know that we are going to take over the world someday, considering how many of us are actually present now. Do yourself a favour and learn lar." Well, why don't you take your FLAT ass somewhere other than near me and bother other people. I don't like you people anyway (the youths), I'm happier here with the buletin board than I am with you guys anyway.

One more thing i'm happy to be with is the new clothes that mum bought from KL. She got me 2 jeans, 4 tops and 5 dresses, not joking. I love love love you mummy! And I can finally say that I'm a proud owner of a Levi's jeans. You know how much those babies are worth? Try RM250 and above. Maybe for some it's considered cheap lar but that's like 5 to 6 times more expensive than my regular jeans. What, I miskin bah. I'm considering naming it. Give me some suggestions, you know you want to. Landay should come up with something awesome, kan Landay. I'll find out Mazlan's number if you do.

Even so, mummy decided that the PS2, Internet and TV is of limits during the holidays because she said something about SPM and how I should get straight A+ for it. How in the world can people do that? And what the heck is it with the education ministry and + and - signs. I think Malaysia is the only country that has three levels of A.

But I will not let that get in the way of me making sure that the holidays will live up to its name. That means minimum work and maximum play. Speaking of which, anyone want to friend me take the drivers' law test? I mean, how hard can it be right? Right?

PS- Guess who just got 79 and possibly the highest for Bio and Chem? :D

xoxo
you know i want to read your comments and spams

Borrow money from a pessimist, they don't expect it back.

Hey people, can you actually believe it's November! Uggh, I'm getting older everyday. Everytime i look into the mirror, I can almost swear I see a teeny weenie wrinkle somewhere. But hey, at least my eyebags are not that noticeable, yet!

Let me just wish Daniel, the 2nd younger bro, a happy 9th birthday. Yes, he's the kid who everyone say is very cute and handsome one. He is also Sharren's favourite among all my brothers. Whatever, just don't turn out gay. No bah, joking only, you knew that right ?

I want to post his picture bah but then I realised I don't have any on my phone right now. But guess whose picture did I found ?

The Bervert I have come to know and, errrr, know. And not forgeting

The youngest bro, Jacob! Apa nie? Pouting competition kah? Well move over kids, cause I have the official winner which will not, and shall not be dethroned! Wait for it, wait for it...

Bah, sepa lagi kan? Were you even surprised? I know you weren't :P

Pictures aside, guess who will be a bridesmaid this month? Okay fine, maybe I should stop asking obvious questions about myself, even I'm annoyed. Oh yes, and the best part of being a bridesmaid? The dress of course. I don't know if it is because I have been watching too much E!, but I think kan my aunty purposedly made the bridesmaid dress to be not so pretty this, you know, so that no one overshadows the bride. I don't wanna say it but I have too, it looks so outdated, uggh. But nevermind, it's her wedding, not mine. I will just run away when it is time to take pictures. Either that, or I'll secretly alter it a bit, or a lot.

One more thing I can't wait for is Bio results. I really really want to know my position in class this. So far, it's okay I guess. Got hope want to crack into the top 3. I have 6 A1's so far, let's see if I can bring it to a 7, but I doubt it. Whatever lar, I'm done trying to please someone, that's for sure. Mummy was like "6
A1's only? For you kan Mirabel,I would expect 9 or 10. Who ask you to be so lazy. Try to be more like *tut* lar." Pfft...

I want to continue but the clock is showing 2.12 a.m. already and I can't keep my eyes.... open. Unless I want to wake up with drools all over my laptop,I'll have to call it a day, or night, or morning.

xoxo
I can't type anymore, zzz...

Malaysian Hell

Hey people, I thought I'll just keep myself updated but nothing interesting has happened yet so I'll put up this joke that I saw while randomly surfing the Net :)

A Malaysian named Ah Meng dies and arrives in hell. He finds that there is a different hell for each country and he can choose which hell he wants to go to. He first goes to the Singapore hell. There outside the door is Ah Lian, looking bored. Ah Meng asks, “What do they do here?”
Ah Lian replies, “First they put you in an electric chair for an hour. Then they lay you on a bed of nails for another hour. Then the Singapore devil comes in and whips your butt for the rest of the day.”
“That’s terrible!” gasps Ah Meng. He is terrified! “I’m going to check out the other hells!”, he yells. He checks out the Thailand hell, the Indian hell as well as the Russian hell and many more. He discovers that they are all more or less the same as the Singapore hell. You get tortured to death basically!

Then he comes to the Malaysian hell and discovers a huge line of people waiting to get in. The line circles around the lobby five times before receding off into the horizon. Ah Meng pushes his way through to the head of the line. Amazed he asks “What do they do here?”
He is told “First they put you in an electric chair for an hour. Then they lay you on a bed of nails for another hour. Then the Malaysian devil comes in and whips your butt for the rest of the day.”
“But… but that’s the same as all the other hells! Why are there so many people waiting to get in?” Ah Meng protests pointing to the long queue.
“True, but because maintenance is so bad that the electric chair does not work, someone has stolen all the nails from the bed, and the devil is a former Gormen servant, so he comes in, signs the register and then goes to the canteen for teh-tarik…”
Ah Meng faints!!!

So true....

You're so hot, you denature my proteins

What biology-related pick up line?!
I just had a 7 1/2 hours of nap and now i feel like I really can do something productive like studying but naaah, so now i'm blogging :)
Installation Night was great but I never thought I'll shed tears over it. And not just any tears mind you, I was crying because of the stress having to bear responsibilities for two people. Yes Liyana, I really did cover your ass that night ! But someone from the Rotary Club complemented me on a job well done so I guess I'm over it. Andy really help me with everything and she also came up with the poem I recited during my time hosting it, thanks babe ! I can't help it so here goes :

A night you'll surely remember,
Lights, camera, show me the action,
With much pride and honour,
Welcome to the first Joint Interactor Installation.

My favourite part of the whole night? Looking at people and their clothes. Seriously, I'm so in love with Fiona Wah's dress ! I couldn't ask for a better partner during hosting as well. I'd choose Liyana from Lok Yuk over my initial partner, some girl from All Saints any day. Sorry lar All Saints girl, but maybe next time, it's smarter to throw away your chewing gum before actually talking on the microphone. People can actually hear chewing sounds coming from you.

It was also great seeing people that I haven't seen for a long time, but I actually approach only one of them. No, who said it was Kaiser :P He was like, "You look really different with make-up". wtf, isn't that what make-up is for! Too bad he forgot my name, and he when he remembered, he went like, "Of course!. Now I remember your name. Myrabel right, Myrabel!" pfft.... I saw others as well but I too malu to say hi cuz I don't think they remember me already.

Oh, and I finally got to know this neanderthal named Hugo. I've met him in competitions and stuff but never actually talked to him. Oh and his younger brother as well, but I forgot his name. Hugo was trying to hook up with Andrea but alas, he didn't succeed, cause you know, it's Andrea. It's fun to see him try and fail though, and Andy's reaction is priceless. He was being all "good boy" during the dinner but he changed colours after that.

Since my dad was suppose to pick me, audrey and her sis up right after sending mummy and my three brothers home (yes, I was the only interactor who actually brought the whole family to the Installation. What, more tickets sold bah!), I didn't call him to pick me up after that cause I thought he'll terus come back for us. What happened after that was me, Audrey and sis and Hugo and bro stayed at the hotel until it was way passed midnight. I think that sounds wrong but who cares. We immediately talk about stuff, a lot of stuff. 18++, whatchu talking about !

Then, the dad came and we send Audrey and sis to their grandma's house. On the way back, I suddenly got hungry so I asked daddy to bring me go makan. I think it was pass 1 something in the morning already. Terus my dad marah cause he was like,"you just went back from a dinner that cause us RM55 EACH and now you want me to stop and buy you roti canai again ?! What's wrong with you! " I never saw daddy marah and I immediately burst out laughing. Sorry lar, but I think my mum's PMS rub off on him already.

Isn't he hot ? If you can't guess from the words on his picture, his name, stage name anyway, is Mir and he's in this new group called MBLAQ. You know, Mirabel. Imagine if I was his girlfriend, just imagine lar. It'll be like, "Oh Mir, I'm so in love with you. Oh Mir, I love you too. Oh Mir, you're so hot. Oh Mir, you're hot too. Oh Mir, I'm so lucky to be with you." And then I'll be like, "I know right".

:P

Thursday, 22 October 2009

I remember the time I was kidnapped and they sent a piece of my finger to my father. He said he wanted more proof.

Yes Sul, I know la bah i didn't update for so long already, but like what for ? I'm not as social as you, no one really cares if i don't update, right, right? Anyways, I just really can't wait for excel to be over. Why do we need two final exams anyway, whoever suggested it must be morons.

So anyone coming to Installation Night ? I know who won't, most of the seniors that is, not that I blame them. RM 55 can get you a lot of things okay ! Twilight DVD anyone ?

So shock man when I found out last years ticket was only RM 35 and they even subsidised it for the juniors okay. Why so mahal wan ? I mean sure the "harga minyak naik" excuse will be use and all those other craps but still, RM55 ? That made a lot of people unable to come to the party, so sad, cause, less hot guys for me to ogle at lar...

But hey, there are still reasons to come bah despite it's hefty price tag. Oh, like guess who's one of the MC for that night? Oh yeah, babe. Wanna see Miraa crash and burn in front of everyone while holding a really loud microphone ? One night only, for RM 55, you'll get to see that and MORE ! Come, come, bring others too. But most importantly, buy the tickets from us okay !

And guess wat, someone who shall remain anonymous got a bit jealous about me being MC yesterday.... Yeah, like I can't see you got shocked when you heard the news. Look, if you really want it that much, go request from Teacher Wee to replace me with you lar. I don't want it anyway. Just don't come up to me and say, "Woah, you actually ask teacher Wee to make you MC ?" Cause I didn't okay, I'm not desperate, I'm not YOU.

But not all is lost though, I never thought my mum would buy me a new dress PLUS shoes for the Installation Night, thanks mummy :) I love the dress, kinda colourful. A combination of my fave colours again that, black, white and red. o,O loves it

And no, nothing's gonna spoil my mood now, not even if I'm suffering from the curse of the 9's... What's that you may ask ?

Physics : 69 as in, one more mark to A2 :(
Maths : 89 I thought this got hope to get best subject, but alas, it didn't happen

Whateves, I'm too tired to care already, I really am.... I'm sure the whole of Form 4 feels the same too....

Do people who spend RM7++ apiece on those little bottles of Evian water know that spelling it backwards is Naive?

MY COMPUTER GOT ATTACK BY VIRUS...... Now, everytime I turn on my Internet, I see an advertisement that whores out gay guys, exactly what I want on my computer kan??????????????? Yeah, so The only time I can get on a computer is when my dad brings in his laptop (like now) because if not, I'll just have to spend my free time studying. Yeah, like that's gonna happen...

Now that Teacher Wong and Huong has gine back to UMS, I don't have the motivation to study especially since Puan Pang and Teacher Ismail is gonna come back and teach us.

Why is everyone leaving? The trainee teacher's are (except for teacher Dewi), and now, even Jaebom is leaving 2pm... I nearly cried even though Jaebom's not my favourite member :(

When I first saw the article on popseoul.com, I was so shocked I couldn't do anything besides breathing cause you know, I gotta live. Then I also found out how mean Korean Netizens can be towards idols there. From what I can conclude, Koreans generally have this very high expectations from idol stars that they expect nothing but perfection. Come on lar, they are humans too.... Jaebom was a teenage boy when he came to Korea to train and he doesn't anything about Korea and their culture. Of course he would be frustrated and made the mistake of publishing negative comments about that country. Still, that's not a reason to actually hate him and publishing harsh things that are untrue about him. Worse still, netizens even started an online suicide for Jaebom to commit suicide! No wonder there are so many Korean stars commiting suicide.....

He might not be the hottest but he's not that bad, at least he's not that gay-looking, like the virus-induced gay adverts on my laptop anyway :(

Till next time....

Anywhere is paradise; it's up to you.

I WANT THE HOLIDAYS BACK AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Time flew so fast that I can't believe it's already September until mummy pointed it out to me in the car today. I was like, *tut*, what the hell ? How did the 8 months past me by just like that? I started to think about what have I done to make my life worthwhile this year. The answer ? Nothing much actually.

Then I went to school and my duty this whole week is to actually take care of "Pentas". Pentas duty means we have to tidy up the stage, turn on/off the light and fans in the main hall and also check the students that comes in late. However, since this week is still in the Merdeka mode, we have the extra duty of controlling the radio that plays all the patriotic songs whose lyrics no one even bothers to remember. Too bad, the radio we're stuck with has no battery charged and the wires to connect to the power source are chewed off. That's right, chewed off. Probably the rats in the staff room have something to do with it. I heard from Pervy David that it is their mating season or something like that. So, at the very last second, I told Amelia to ask the students to sing our normal Tuesday song, Wawasan 2020. Thank God no teachers noticed. (They were probably relieved if you ask me)

Everything after that basically went uneventful UNTIL it was time for Perv's class. Uggh, somehow, my worst classroom experience always happens in HIS (It's?) class. Teacher Wee (da male species, let's call him he-Wee) suddenly came in and announce that we're going to get new tables and chairs. I was NOT happy especially after seeing what we would have. You see, 4ST and 4SF have these Huge tables where we to 7 people can share it comfortably because there is just that much space available. Too bad our new tables is kinda small so we can't just put our stuff here, here and here like we use to ;(... Not only that, there are only three tables per row so many friends have to be separated.

But NOOOOO, that's not the worst part for me. Apparently, people already `booked' their places for themselves that in the end, guess where I sat ? Sana paling hujung. Angry doesn't sum up my feelings that time. I was disappointed, hurt and appaled by what I have to go through. My feelings were not because I was separated from my friends. I know I can adapt to the people around me. It's just that being put behind makes it THAT much harder to concentrate, to see the whiteboard(especially the LCD) and also to be noticed whenever I have any questions to ask the teacher. Part of me feel that some of the places in front are wasted on those people who do not even appreciate it because whenever the teachers' are teaching, they would be sleeping. As loud as I may be in class, I still listen and I still learn. I'm not boasting, but how else can my results be that good? [At least better than most people in my class, no offense, results are not everything by the way :)]

But I guess people tend to overlook the smarter people because guess who are my sitting partners? Andrea, Eileen and Margaret, some of the smartest people in their respective subjects you would ever know. (More motivation to score at least and I can ask for help for any subjects without having to walk far). So yeah people, go ahead and sleep all you like in front. I'm going to prove once and for all that I can get me some of those best marks in subject's award. You wait and see.

However, I want to clarify one thing here. I am not mad that you did not reserve any seat for me because I know that you tried your best (these people will know who you are). Thank you for at least trying to change the seating arrangements with the Perv and the he-Wee so that I can seat in front. Some even wanted to change place with me because I guess I didn't hide my displeasure at all. I was tempted but I didn't change because I care for you guys and I can't be selfish and let you suffer sitting where I am right now because it is harder given the disadvantages it brings. But now I realize that I have nice people to call my friends and for that I'm very grateful. That and the fact that I got 100 for Maths, yes!!! :p

The world is full of cactus, but we don't have to sit on it.

Sunday, 30 August 2009

Cause your so hypnotising, you got me laughing while I sing.... ;X

How do I start this ? First of all, congrats to Joeanne and Steve for their marriage on Saturday ! Of course, I thought that it does matter when the groom is taller than the bride but you guys totally proved me wrong. Don't bah, I'm still a teenager so I'm allowed to be a little mean right? Oh well, your marriage shows that height doesn't matter cause well, love IS a little blind right...

But I don't see myself marrying a shorter guy because I practically live in heels, except for school at least.I'm super serious, once, I even shovelled tanah hitam with my beloved heels because that time,I didn't own any flats whatsoever... Yes, not even a selipar jepun. But now I'm a proud owner of 2 sandals, oh yeah.

Before I forget, I give all my condolences to Uncle Kwan and his children Jonathan, Joanna and Josephine for the passing of their wife/mother, Aunty Ivy. I'm sure that Aunty Ivy is in a better place now.Remember the way that Pastor Fred put it, it's not goodbye because you will meet again in heaven. Don't forget God and that will surely happen.

Woah, when a death happens to someone, even if they are not close to you,it puts a lot of things in perspective doesn't it? Mummy keep on asking us what would happen if she was to die now. Of course I told her not to say that again but Jacob (my youngest bro) said "saya tidak mau mummy pergi" and proceeds to lay his head on her chest. So sweet man that kid, but no mummy, I don't want another brother or sister again, so stop asking me if I want you to breed again, you're not a rabbit and you're too old, and I mean that in the nicest way possible.

However, my real answer would be that I cannot imagine life without you because I don't think sixteen years is enough time to spend together. In an ideal world, I would like all of us to go into eternity together so that no one is left behind, having to be burdened by the feeling of sadness and abandoned. But I know that it is too much too ask. And if you were to go now, I would like you to know that there is still so many things I havent't ask for forgiveness for, about stuff you know and don't know. So much more secrets to tell, so many experience to go through together. I'm not ready to lose you yet, and I don't think I'll ever be.

Love is like playing the piano. First you must learn to play by the rules, then you must forget the rules and play from your heart.

The trouble with the rat race is that even if you win you're still a rat

Haha, I know it's a very random title but still it's kind of true isn't it? Landy says I should update more, *U noe, like she does*, so here you go my darling :x.I can't believe the holidays have started but I'm of kind of wasting my time now cause some1 related to me (jeremy the annoying sibling) is having his UPSR so my momma doesn't want him to waste his time go jalan-jalan -_-" Whatever Jeremy, remember what I told you, don't ^%^# this thing up. Go and get that 5 A's, can that. Just because I call you stupid doesn't really mean you are okay.

What else, oh yeah, I also found out my dearest Add M3 teacher who tirelessly teach me and patiently answers my stupid and random questions punya Chinese name. Get this, it's Tan AH KAU (Ah Kau is Chinese for dog,lol.). That's kinda funny of his parents, maybe when I have kids I will name them with an embarassing name to make them suffer, hehe.

Speaking of studyin, all 4 ST students are required to go to school to finish some aktiviti for Kemerdekaan which is to paint the kain rentang. So far so good, but I didn't help one bit with the painting. Probably because there were to many people already doing it and you know, too many hands spoil the broth, or in this case the kain rentang so I'll paint tommorow okay, Andy you have my word. It's nice meeting friends and just talk and kacau their handphones and stuff. Saw some Form Five students as well who came to school for their kelas tambahan. I didn't know that our school allows students to wear their normal baju for kelas tambahan. Does it only happen in Convent ? OMG, so many questions lar dis school brings up in me, or is it just me ? Nah..

Mirabel or Me Rebel (hmmmm)

Wow, it has been a very long time since I updated my blog. Reason is :

1. I'm lazy

2. I procrastinate

3. Everytime I rajin already, sum1 else go and use da laptop (ie. mummmy, daddy, 3 ekor budak lelaki who somehow share the same DNA as I do)

4. I'd rather go to fanfiction or youtube

5. I sometimes worry if I write stuff down I might actually realize my life is quite boring :(

So, does anyone have a cure for emo-ness ? I think I'll probably need it for the next 2 years of my life. I'm so not motivated to got to school, to study, and all those right now. Who does that anyway? Ewww.....

By the way, all those time I spent away from blogging, surprisingly quite a lot of interesting stuff happened in my life. Let's see, first of all I went to Kem Perdana. It was quite good except the Landay incident. To know more, just go and read at landay's blog, interesting that.

After that, finally got my result lar...

BM: 93

BI: 98

M3: 100 (13 other people in my class got the same marks so it kinda lose it's novelty)

ADD M3: 74 (lowest marks ever, *sobs*)

PHY: 56 (i hate this subject anyway and surprisingly my marks got 2nd highest, weird... )

CHEM:81(Yay, highest! Finally)

BIO: 75 (Bervert got 90, what a nerd.... No bah, you smart bah)

SEJ: 86 (happy lar juga but sum1 got 98, *coughs* Mimi *coughs*)

PM: 59 (No one ever seems to score Moral in our class anyway, so whateves lar... What are the chance that Moral can be excluded from the compulsary subjects in Spm by 2010? None ? Thought so.....)

LIT: 76 (I quit this paper 25 minutes before the time and I immediately pass up to teacher... Seriously, my brain just shut down, Is it a medical condition? I shall name it as MABES, or Mentally Abused By Exam Stress.... Wow, I should get a Nobel Prize for that !)

Verdict : Reading back what I wrote, I kinda realize how ungrateful I sound. I mean it's not that my results are THAT bad (except: Phy, PM and Add M3), it's just not THAT great.... Whateves lar, I guess it's kinda fair considering I spend zero amount of time on homework and studies... I have so much to be grateful for, at least I haven't failed once, right, right ???

Of course, the most recent "event" that happened was I went to this Australian Education Fair organized by IDP. The time was kinda weird because it only lasted 4 hours but the good thing is it is organized at Le Meridien. There were a lot of universities that had an exhibition there, namely:

  1. Taylors College (Australia Branch, who knew Taylors College from there, I thought i was Malaysia punya.... Wow, I'm really that outdated huh ?
  2. Monash University
  3. University of Tasmania
  4. University of New South Wales
  5. University of Adelaide

And a lot more (too malas to write). The best thing about this fair is that 90% of the fair is actually conducted by Australians themselves and not some Malaysian representative of that particular University. It was very enlightening and I'm seriously thinking of taking my Medicine course there. The downside, a very conservative calculation done on my part taking into account that the inflation rate for university fees is around 4%-7% a year, my parents would most likely have to fork out RM1.2 million alone on the fees. This is excluding the money that I will spend on accommodation, food and uilitis, etc.... Ouch !!!

There was these 1 incident that is most memorable there. I went to the University of Tasmania booth and this was what happened

me dad UTAS guy

Hi, I'm here to enquire about the Medicine course in this University

When will you get you A-levels results?

*taken aback*Well, I'm only in Form 4 this year so.....

But when are you going to get your A-levels results?

I hard for me to tell you exactly because I'm not sure which intake date will I choose to follow....

So are you saying that you don't know

*looks at dad for help*

*blurrrrr*

Well, maybe sometime in 2012

when of 2012 ?

..................

Do you know that most people apply for a medicine course a year before the course actually starts ?

A year ! Are you like, serious ?!

*rolls eyes* What do you expect? I can see that this would not go anywhere so I'll just ask her (some random local career counselor) for the exact month, ok *rolls eyes for dramatic effect again*

Freak, should have known he was a bad guy from his bald head....... Speaking of the devil.....

*comes back* Which A-levels will you take, the 1 and 1/2 years or 2 years duration ?

the 1 1/2 year one

You will get your results in August. *evil smirk* Do you know that the deadline is in June ?

So you mean that I have to wait one more year to apply? No !!!!!!!!

No, you just have to send your application first plus your reasons for giving your results late and as soon as you get the results, you can immediately send it to us.

boringboringboring

So, what is the quota for International Students for a medical course in UTAS ?

We take 20

Only?

For you information, that's the normal intake for most universities here.

Oh, okay..... But how many Malaysians are usually selected out of this 20 people?

Here in UTAS, we are not racist, as long as you are not an Australian or a Permanent Resident, you are an international student.

I didn't mean to say that UTAS are racist but....

But you kind of implied it

*terdiam seketika*

So I have to say that medical students in UTAS are the happiest medical students around because the enviroment.......

boringboringboringEND

Anyone who knows me would know that I really get scared or nervous when it comes to talking and asking questions but I have to say that the interview left me scarred and it didn't help that daddy dear didn't stand up for me. Come on la bah daddy, that b*tch in a man's body just called your daughter a racist in front of your face, can't you like like say something like "me, my money and my darling adorable daughter are out of here. Good luck keeping your job when your employers hear from me ! *snap* "

So that was basically how my time has gone pass so far. what else do people say when they want to end their blog anyway? Sorry bah, I'm still a novice... Erm, hope you enjoy reading my not very enjoyable blog and just comment k. Ok, that wasn't so lame, right? Whateves, I'm a freak.

xoxo,

Mir
